TripAdvisor - March  2009 - "FIVE STAR! " Went in for a Dinner there was a bit of a wait, so we went to the Bar for a couple of great Marq's!! We were sat sooner then quoted (Was Very Busy), to a very clean table,the Busman was like a whril- wind, the wait staff kind, food great, had a vey nice time here!!

I sat on the outside deck while having a cocktail and enjoying the sun and ocean breeze. I decided to go inside to order my dinner and was greeted with such a friendly staff and the atmosphere was relaxing. The food was delicious and the service wonderful. It was such a great day, I decided after dinner to walk around the side of the restaurant, take off my shoes and walk on the beach. A Perfect Evening at Barnacles!
Everything was Great!

Great place to relax and enjoy the Ocean Breeze! I sat at their huge outside deck and enjoyed a cocktail, feeling the sun and ocean breeze, while sight seeing. I then decided t go in and order my meal and was greated with a friendly smile and seated right away. The staff was so nice and the atmosphere so relaxing, I felt very comfortable eating by myself. The food was great, fresh and delicious. It was such a nice experience and such a warm day, I decided to walk around to the side of the restaurant, took off my shoes and walk the beach for a while. Perfect!

We stopped here by chance on our first visit to Daytona Beach area. We arrived early and were quickly seated at a requested booth. The server was not shy about making recommendations from the menu and we were extremely pleased with his choices. I had the Lobster lasagna and it was out of this world. My wife had a shrimp dish she loved. The sever was friendly and timely, not pushy. We were early and we watched another server take his time helping an elderly couple make choices. He was kind and considerate. Nice job! Our meals ran about $24-$28 and were well worth it. I will go back!!!
